Positive Feedback

Every day Northeast Goalie Development receives positive feedback from parents, players, and coaches. Here are some of the messages we've received.

  • PARENT & PLAYER FEEDBACK
  • COLLEGE & PRO ALUMNI FEEDBACK

Hey Clayton,

Just wanted to pass this along. Timmy and Jackie can not say enough good things about your goalie camp (it's all the are talking about). They said they have already learned so much because of the instruction and the video piece is blowing their minds:) They keep talking to each other about what things they do well, and what they need to focus on. They absolutely love
it :)

Not surprised at all cause you are an outstanding coach :)

Thanks Clay,
Kouri W

Hello,

I want to thank you and Clay for running a great camp. My son was at goalie camp the week of July 5th and had a terrific time. Andy isn't much of a talker normally, but he still brings up camp! He hopes to go again next year if he can save up the money. We pay for the flights, but my boys have to pay for the rest:)

Andy was the youngest goalie this season to get his JV team into the playoffs (out of 17 teams). Also, he volunteers his time as a student coach at our local rink. The first day of the new session was on Saturday. I wasn't surprised to find him wearing his camp shirt :).

I didn't know what to expect from camp. It sounded great online, but you never know... Now we do! It was a great experience and Andy looks forward to getting back sometime.

Best regards,
Kristen P

Mr. Adams,

My son Michael Sykora finished your half day goalie camp last Friday (8/22). He really enjoyed it and is already talking about coming back next summer! He liked both the off ice and the on ice. He liked that the off ice was designed towards goalies. So many off ice sessions are generic conditioning drills. Also, the on ice practice challenged him. That was great for him also. He appreciated that it was not easy. I want to thank you for running such an excellent week of training.

Take Care,
Mark A

Hi, Clay.

Thanks so much for the instructional time with Katie. You're an excellent teacher who is clearly attentive to detail, and she and I both feel that the sessions, though only three, were the most beneficial direct instruction in mechanics she's ever received. It's a shame that Walpole is 2 1/2 hours from home (Norwich, VT), as it would be great to have her continue to receive more lessons from you.

As I mentioned, she's also signed up for the Middlebury Women's Hockey Camp (8/11-13), which I believe is the same time you're holding your USA Hockey Development Camp. Her high school team (NH state champs for the last 4 years) will be competing at the national level in the Schwan Cup (Nat'l Sports Center in Blaine, MN, 12/30-1/1).

Thanks, again. And, Katie thanks you for the written information sheet.

Coach Adams pushed me every single day. We did drills that got me out of my comfort zone, and drills that enhanced my battle. Besides that drills it was the positive energy that he brought to the rink day in and day out that got me where I am today.

Chris Eiserman (Goaltender, SUNY Fredonia)

I started working with Clay this past summer and since then not only do I consider myself a more technically sound goaltender but I think my consistency has improved as well. Clay provides goalies with excellent movement techniques and drills and places a large emphasis on proper save selection. I can tap into the save selection techniques that Clay and I work on in virtually any given situation in a game and that preparation allows me to make saves, control rebounds, and ultimately give my team a chance to win every night.

Coach Rob I want to thank you for all the effort and time you put into me to grow not only as a hockey player but as a person to. From the endless ice time to the great power skating practices. It really helped my game as a goaltender and made me alot more well rounded on the ice and really developed my crease movement. I had a great experience playing for the Walpole Express. It helped shape the player I am today. I still remember the first phone call I had with you when I told you I was ready to commit to the Express. Your response was "chicka pow". I will remember that for the rest of my life. I had a great experience with you and the Walpole Express organization. I will never forget it. Thanks for everything!

Zach Andrews (Goaltender, UMASS Boston)

Rob, I have to say that it was my two years with NEH hockey that created my foundation as a player and a person. Not only did your coaches engrain the necessary skills and work ethic needed for me to be successful on the ice, but pushed me to be a better person off the ice. I have been lucky enough to play Prep School hockey and Division 1 hockey, and I know that your organization does it right. Thanks for making me successful on and off the ice.

Jake Whiting (Goaltender, Quinnipiac University)

Being recruited to play in Walpole for Rob's organization was a great step in the right direction for my hockey career. Rob and his staff offered all of the guidence, tools, and preperation for me to succeed and accomplish my goal of playing Division I hockey at Canisius College. Without their help I would not have been able to accomplsih my goals. I owe much of my success to both Rob and his staff.
